How do I apply the tape correctly?
Wash your face, dry thoroughly, wait at least
10 minutes. No creams or oils on the adhesive surface. Position the nose tape in the center.
Stick the mouth tape over the center of your lips. Warm briefly with your fingers
for optimal adhesion.
Does the tape work with a beard?
Yes – this was explicitly tested. The
adhesive technology also sticks to stubble. Briefly smooth the skin and find the optimal
position before you apply it.
What happens if I need to sneeze or open my mouth at night?
The tape is
not a seal—it's a reminder. In an emergency (sneezing, coughing, discomfort), the
mouth can be opened at any time. The tape will detach and cannot
be reused.
Does the tape hold when sweating?
Yes. Certified Henkel adhesive, developed for
adhesion even under physical stress. Athletes use SILENZ without
restrictions.
Can I wear the tape during the day too?
Yes. Many customers also use the nasal
tape during sports for optimized nasal breathing under strain. The mouth tape is
primarily designed for nighttime use.
Does the tape leave residue or redness?
Our tapes adhere extremely well,
to ensure you the best possible breathing. The slight redness after removal is merely
increased blood circulation — similar to after a massage. It disappears
completely within a few minutes. Tip: Moisten the tape before removing it.
Then peel it off from the outside in — first left, then right, finally the middle on the
bridge of the nose. This way it detaches gently and without pulling.
Can I use SILENZ on sensitive skin?
Yes. The certified Henkel
adhesive is dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin. If you have very
sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test on your forearm before the first
application.
What if the tape comes off at night?
When applied correctly — thoroughly dry skin, wait at least 10 minutes, no creams — the tape will last all night. If it does come off, simply reapply it. Tip: warm it briefly with your fingers for maximum hold.
Is the adhesive vegan and certified?
Yes. Exclusively Henkel-certified
adhesives (SensGrip™ Technology). Vegan. No harmful substances.
How do I dispose of the tape?
The tape used belongs in the residual waste.

How can I revoke?
You have the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. You can exercise the
right of withdrawal directly via the "Withdrawal" button in your customer account or in

Who is SILENZ suitable for?
For healthy adults who want to optimize sleep quality, recovery,
focus, and aesthetics. Especially suitable for athletes, biohackers,
people with mild snoring, and anyone who finally wants to wake up feeling rested in the morning.
Is SILENZ a medical device?
No. SILENZ is a wellness product. It is not a
registered medical device and does not replace medical treatment. For serious
sleep problems such as sleep apnea, please consult a doctor.
Can I use SILENZ for a cold?
In case of an acutely blocked nose,
we recommend omitting the nose tape and only using the mouth tape — or pausing
the application until recovery.
Can I use SILENZ as an alternative to nasal spray?
SILENZ mechanically opens the
nostrils — without chemicals, without active ingredients, without addiction. Many
of our customers report that they have used their nasal spray less frequently since then. However, SILENZ
is not a medical device and does not replace medical treatment for chronic
nasal congestion.
Is SILENZ suitable for children?
No. Adults only.
